16As we were going to fthe place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had ga spirit of hdivination and ibrought her owners much gain by fortune-telling.1 Timothy 6:9-10
9But jthose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, kinto a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that lplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of mall kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
